Quick answer
Open the listing and check the required fields (address, price, category) are complete, at least one photo is enabled for portal feeds, and the listing status is set to publish to that portal. Look for any feed error message, fix it, then re-publish to send a fresh feed. Portals can take a little while to display the update.
WHY IT HAPPENS
The feed only sends when the listing is complete and published.
Agentbox sends your listings to portals like realestate.com.au and Domain through an automated feed. That feed only fires when the listing is properly filled in and set to publish — and the portals will reject it if something's missing or doesn't match. The usual culprits are a required field left blank, no photo flagged for the portal feed, a listing still sitting in draft, a mismatch such as a suburb and postcode that don't line up, or the portal account not being linked correctly. Work through the checks below.
HOW TO FIX IT
Work through these in order.
- Confirm the required fields are completeOpen the listing and check the essentials the portals demand — full property address, a valid suburb and postcode that match, price or price display, property category and enough description. A single blank or invalid field will stop the whole listing from feeding.
- Make sure a photo is enabled for portal feedsPortals won't accept a listing with no image. In the listing's media/photos section, confirm at least one photo is uploaded and that it's enabled to feed to the portals (not just stored). Use standard formats like JPEG or PNG and keep file sizes reasonable.
- Check the listing status is set to publishA listing sitting in draft or an internal-only status won't go anywhere. Confirm the status is one that publishes (for example, active/available) and that the listing is ticked to feed to realestate.com.au and/or Domain specifically.
- Look for a feed error messageAgentbox and the portals report errors when a feed is rejected — for example an invalid suburb, an address that can't be matched, or a missing mandatory field. Read the error, as it usually names the exact field to fix. Correct that field before re-sending.
- Fix the details and re-publishOnce the listing is complete, save or re-publish it so Agentbox sends a fresh feed to the portal. Re-publishing is what forces the update through — editing alone doesn't always re-trigger the feed.
- Give the portal time to updatePortals don't always display changes instantly. After a successful feed, allow a little time and refresh the portal listing before assuming it failed. If it's genuinely not there after a reasonable wait, move on.
- Check the portal account is linkedIf nothing feeds at all — not just one listing — the link between your agency and the portal may not be set up or activated. Confirm your agency's realestate.com.au or Domain account is correctly connected in Agentbox, and that the portal has activated the feed at their end.
If listings regularly fail to feed — or errors keep repeating across different properties — the problem is often in how your Agentbox portal links, templates or data entry are set up, not the individual listings. Getting the feed configuration checked once usually stops it recurring.
