Quick answer
Open Agentbox in an up-to-date Chrome, Firefox or Safari, clear your browser's cache and cookies, then close and reopen the tab. If it's still slow, turn off browser extensions and check your internet. If several people are affected at once, check Agentbox's status page for an outage.
WHY IT HAPPENS
It's usually the browser, not Agentbox.
Agentbox is a web-based CRM — it runs inside your browser rather than being installed on your PC. So when it won't load or drags, the cause is almost always something in front of it: an old or unsupported browser, a cluttered cache holding onto stale files, an extension getting in the way, or a patchy office internet connection. Real Agentbox outages happen, but they're rare and they affect everyone at once. Work through the steps below in order.
THE FIX
Work through these in order.
- Use a current, supported browserAgentbox is built for the latest Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari (Safari on Mac). Make sure your browser is fully updated. Old or unusual browsers can leave parts of the CRM failing to load or behaving oddly.
- Clear the cache and cookiesA cluttered cache is the most common cause. In Chrome, go to ⋮ menu → Delete browsing data, tick Cached images and files and Cookies, then reload Agentbox and sign in again. As a quick first test, try a hard refresh with Ctrl + F5 (or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac).
- Test in a private/incognito windowOpen Agentbox in a new Incognito/Private window (Ctrl + Shift + N in Chrome). Private mode runs with extensions off and no old cache. If it works there, the problem is an extension or stale data in your normal browser.
- Turn off browser extensionsAd blockers, VPN add-ons, privacy tools and password managers can all interfere with a web app. Disable your extensions, reload Agentbox, then switch them back on one at a time to find the culprit.
- Check your internet connectionOpen any other website. If it's slow or won't load, the problem is your connection or office Wi-Fi, not Agentbox. A weak signal or an overloaded connection makes a browser app feel broken even when it's fine.
- Check the Agentbox status pageIf Agentbox is down for several staff at once, it may be an Agentbox-side incident. Check Agentbox's official status page (or ask your IT provider to). If it shows an outage, there's nothing to fix locally — you just wait for it to be resolved.
- Sign out and back inUse the sign-out option inside Agentbox, close the browser completely, reopen it and log back in. This clears a stale session — a frequent cause of pages half-loading or actions timing out.
If it's slow for the whole office every day — and the status page is clear — the bottleneck is usually your internet connection, Wi-Fi coverage or the age of your PCs rather than Agentbox itself. That's a network and hardware review, and it's exactly what a free IT Health Check is designed to uncover.
