Console Cloud won't load
or is running slow?

Console Cloud is stuck on a blank screen, spinning forever, or crawling so slowly your property managers can't get through the day. Because it runs in your browser, the fix is usually quick — start here before you call anyone.

Applies to: Console Cloud · any browser Time: ~5–10 minutes Level: Anyone
Quick answer

Open Console Cloud in an up-to-date Google Chrome, clear your browser's cache and cookies, then close and reopen the tab. If it's still slow, disable browser extensions and check your internet. If several people are affected at once, check Console's status page for an outage.

WHY IT HAPPENS

It's usually the browser, not Console.

Console Cloud is a web app — it lives in your browser rather than installed on your PC. So when it won't load or drags, the culprit is almost always something in front of it: an out-of-date or unsupported browser, a bloated cache holding onto old files, a browser extension interfering, or a patchy internet connection at the office. Genuine Console outages do happen, but they're the exception, and they hit everyone at once. Work through the list below in order.

THE FIX

Work through these in order.

  1. Use a current, supported browserConsole Cloud runs best in the latest Google Chrome. Make sure your browser is fully updated (in Chrome: ⋮ menu → Help → About Google Chrome, which updates automatically). Very old browsers, or unusual ones, can leave parts of the app failing to load.
  2. Clear the cache and cookiesA cluttered cache is the single most common cause. In Chrome, go to ⋮ menu → Delete browsing data, choose Cached images and files and Cookies, then reload Console Cloud and sign in again. As a quick test first, try a hard refresh with Ctrl + F5.
  3. Test in a private/incognito windowOpen Console Cloud in a new Incognito window (Ctrl + Shift + N in Chrome). Incognito runs with extensions off and no cached data. If it works fine there, the problem is an extension or old cache in your normal browser.
  4. Turn off browser extensionsAd blockers, VPN add-ons, privacy tools and password managers can all block parts of a web app. Disable your extensions (in Chrome: ⋮ menu → Extensions → Manage extensions), reload Console, then switch them back on one at a time to find the offender.
  5. Check your internet connectionOpen any other website. If pages are slow or won't load, the issue is your connection or office Wi-Fi, not Console. A weak signal or an overloaded connection makes a browser app feel broken even when it isn't.
  6. Check the Console status pageIf Console Cloud is down for several staff at the same time, it may be a Console-side incident. Check Console's official status page (or ask your IT provider to). If it shows an outage, there's nothing to fix locally — you just wait for them to resolve it.
  7. Sign out and back inUse the sign-out option inside Console Cloud, close the browser completely, reopen it and log back in. This clears a stale session — a common cause of pages half-loading or actions timing out.
If it's slow for the whole office every day — and the status page is clear — the bottleneck is often your internet connection, Wi-Fi coverage or the age of your PCs rather than Console itself. That's a network and hardware review, and it's exactly what a free IT Health Check is built to find.
