Can't log in to
Class (Class Super)?

You're trying to get into Class Super — your cloud SMSF administration software — and it won't accept your password, your 2FA code isn't working, or your account has locked. Work through these fixes in order to get back in without locking yourself out further.

Applies to: Class · Class Super (SMSF) Time: ~5–15 minutes Level: Anyone
Quick answer

Check Caps Lock and that you're on the correct Class Super sign-in page, then use the forgot password link if the password is wrong. For a 2FA/MFA problem, make sure your phone's clock is set to automatic and the authenticator time is in sync. If you've changed phones, you'll need to reset MFA using your security questions — or have your firm's access controller reset it for you.

WHY IT HAPPENS

Password, second factor, or the browser.

Because Class Super holds sensitive SMSF data, it enforces multi-factor authentication (MFA/2FA) for essentially every role — access controllers, administrators, tax agents, advisers, auditors, and member and trustee logins alike. That means a sign-in failure is usually one of three things: the wrong password, a 2FA code that won't verify (a new phone or an out-of-sync authenticator clock), or a browser holding onto stale data. Too many wrong attempts will also temporarily lock the account. The steps below tackle each in turn.

THE FIX

Work through these in order.

  1. Slow down and check the basicsConfirm Caps Lock is off, your keyboard language is right, and you're on the genuine Class Super login page. Type the password carefully rather than relying on a saved autofill that may be out of date.
  2. Reset your passwordIf the password is wrong, use the forgot / can't access your account link on the Class Super sign-in page and follow the email to set a new one. Choose a strong, unique password you're not using anywhere else.
  3. Fix your 2FA codeIf the password is accepted but the 2FA/MFA code is rejected, open your authenticator app and check the code is current (they rotate every 30 seconds). Set your phone's date and time to automatic — an out-of-sync clock is the most common reason codes fail.
  4. Reset MFA if you've changed phonesLost the authenticator, or moved to a new device? In Class Super you can reset MFA by answering two of the security questions you set up earlier, then re-enrolling your new phone or authenticator app.
  5. Ask someone in your firm to reset itIf you can't remember your security answers, another Class user can reset your MFA — your firm's access controller for staff logins, or your accountant/administrator for member, trustee and investor (Client View) logins.
  6. Clear your browser cache — or switch browserA stale session can block sign-in. Clear cached files and cookies, or open a fresh private/incognito window, or try a different modern browser to rule out a browser-side problem.
  7. Check whether Class Super is downIf nothing works and it's not just you, there may be a service incident. Check Class's official status page or ask a colleague whether they can log in before assuming it's your account.
Stop before you lock yourself out. Class Super temporarily locks an account after repeated failed attempts to protect your SMSF data — so if the password clearly isn't working, use the reset link rather than guessing again. If you're already locked out, wait a short period and try once more with the correct details, or ask your access controller or Class Support to unlock it.
SECURE ACCESS, LESS FRICTION

SMSF software you can always get into — and trust.

MFA is exactly what should protect Class Super and your clients' SMSF data — but when logins, second factors and password resets aren't managed properly, your team loses time and risk creeps in. Our free IT Health Check reviews how your practice handles sign-in, MFA and account recovery across Class Super, Microsoft 365 and the rest of your stack, and shows you where to make it both safer and simpler.
